The history of Bandung City officially began during the Dutch East Indies Colonial rule, in the 19th century. The city of Bandung was founded by and by the will (policy) of the 6th Regent of Bandung, R.A. Wiranatakusumah II (1794-1829). [1] However, the establishment process was accelerated by the order of the 36th Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies, Herman Willem Daendels (1808-1811) by decree (besluit) on September 25, 1810, so that September 25 was considered the anniversary of the City of Bandung".
Sejarah Kota Bandung secara resmi dimulai pada masa pemerintahan Kolonial Hindia Belanda, pada abad ke-19. Kota Bandung didirikan oleh dan atas kehendak (kebijakan) Bupati Bandung ke-6, R.A. Wiranatakusumah II (1794-1829).[1] Akan tetapi proses pendiriannya dipercepat oleh perintah Gubernur Jenderal Hindia Belanda ke-36, Herman Willem Daendels (1808-1811) dengan surat keputusan (besluit) pada tanggal 25 September 1810, sehingga tanggal 25 September dianggap sebagai hari jadi Kota Bandung".
